My name is Shalasha Owens. I've been an early childhood educator for over 20 years.  I am a CPR and First Aid instructor. I am a mother of 3 daughters and currently assisting with raising 2 grandsons.  I am owner and operator of PLAY TO LEARN FAMILY CHILDCARE.  I served as an Elementary Substitute Teacher and Tutor for Prince Georges County Maryland Public School Board for 8 years. I have worked with Childcare Centers and Home based Centers throughout The DMV Area. I have Experience providing Professional Services to People with Disabilities and Volunteered with the Special Olympics for 3 years. I have received Certifications in the 90 hour Childcare in 2003. I have received Certification for Anxirty in the Classroom and Infant Nutrition.
